A practical agreement for using Salt & Maybe.

Who may use Salt & Maybe

You must be legally able to enter this agreement and must use Salt & Maybe for lawful household meal planning. Salt & Maybe is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. You are responsible for activity through your account and for maintaining access to your Apple or Google sign-in account.

What Salt & Maybe provides

Salt & Maybe helps identify user-selected ingredients, organize household meal information, and generate meal suggestions. Features may change, improve, be limited, or be discontinued. We may suspend access when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, abuse prevention, or legal compliance.

Food, allergy, and health warning

Salt & Maybe is a planning tool, not a medical, dietary, or food-safety professional. Ingredient recognition and AI-generated suggestions can be incomplete or wrong. Salt & Maybe does not detect allergens, inspect cross-contact, verify labels, guarantee dietary compliance, or determine whether food is safe.

You are responsible for checking every ingredient, package label, substitution, preparation surface, cooking temperature, and dietary requirement. Seek qualified medical advice for allergies, intolerances, nutrition, or health conditions. Do not rely on Salt & Maybe in an emergency.

Your content

You retain your rights in content you provide, including recipes, lists, dietary settings, and photos. You grant us a limited worldwide license to host, process, transmit, transform, and display that content solely as needed to operate, secure, and improve Salt & Maybe. You represent that you have the rights needed to provide the content and that it does not violate law or another person’s rights.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse Salt & Maybe, bypass its security, access another household without permission, submit unlawful or harmful content, interfere with the service, automate abusive requests, reverse engineer protected portions except where law permits, or use outputs to create an unsafe or deceptive product.

AI output

Meal suggestions are generated using automated systems and may resemble suggestions provided to others. You must review outputs before using them. We do not promise that suggestions are unique, complete, accurate, suitable, or available for any particular purpose.

Ownership

Salt & Maybe and its software, design, branding, and service technology belong to Calibogue Worldwide Corporation or its licensors. These Terms give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of Salt & Maybe intellectual property.

Account termination

You may stop using Salt & Maybe or delete your account in the app at any time. We may restrict or terminate access for material violations, security threats, unlawful conduct, or prolonged service discontinuation.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Salt & Maybe is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, safety, fitness, merchantability, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Calibogue Worldwide Corporation and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost data, lost profits, or harm resulting from reliance on ingredient recognition or meal suggestions.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

Apple-specific terms

Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for Salt & Maybe, support, maintenance, claims, or warranties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you as related to your use of the iOS app. Your use must also comply with applicable App Store terms.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms to reflect service, legal, or safety changes. Material updates will be communicated when required. Continued use after an update becomes effective means you accept the revised Terms.
